About 01

I'm a Computer Science Graduate from Katowice, specialising in automation and computer games. The work that's actually shaped how I think about systems has come from running infrastructure, not coursework.

The home server came first: a backup drive, months before my first job. Then NOC operations at Sperasoft, watching live production systems and learning what failure actually looks like at 3am. Now it's hands-on cloud engineering at Grid Dynamics, Terraform, Ansible, and GCP on a large-scale project, with the server still growing alongside all of it.

A self-hosted Gentoo Linux server running 70+ Docker services, designed, built, and maintained end to end.

  • CI/CD pipeline (Forgejo Actions) that validates and builds binary packages, distributed to client machines via a self-hosted binhost.
  • Full observability stack (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, AlertManager, cAdvisor) with severity-tiered alert routing.
  • WireGuard VPN, Caddy reverse proxy, DNS filtering, and RAID10 storage under LUKS encryption with remote unlock.
  • Automated maintenance and notification pipelines, backed by a self-hosted Matrix homeserver.
